“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.” -Bryan Tracy
Have you ever noticed the life pattern that in order to something new emerges something must be broken, and what comes to visibility is repeatedly better?
I think these words from Lalah Delia capture this process perfectly, “Transmutation: Grapes must be crushed to make wine. Diamonds form under pressure. Olives are pressed to release oil. Seeds grow in darkness. Whenever you feel crushed, under pressure, pressed, or in darkness, you’re in a powerful place of transformation/transmutation.”
We have the inherent capacity to transform breakdowns into breakthroughs. We can recover and grow when faced with setbacks, but at the same time, it’s a challenge to believe that. Our mind is wired to fear the unknown.
Is this what life’s all about?
Probably you have a dream very close to your heart, but you’ve no idea how to make it happen. Deep down you know something has to change, however, growing and expanding is uncomfortable. So instead of taking action towards what you want, you hold yourself back. You decide to live life from the sidelines just because is familiar to you. It feels safe.
Here are 3 signs you’re living on the sidelines of life:
- It’s easy for you to criticize others.
- You’re afraid to try something new.
- You’re waiting for the perfect time.
Bring to visibility yourself and your gifts
Maybe you feel incomplete or lacking somehow, but the bridge between where you’re now and where you dream to be is soulful action. Your soul knows the way. Lead a life guided by your intuition and your heart. Stop hiding and make it happen!
Change “Why even try?” to “Why wouldn’t I?
Replace “I can’t” with “How can I?”
Trust that you're resourceful enough to figure it out. Click To TweetThere’s a quote from Rainer Maria Rilke that says: “Our deepest fears are like dragons guarding our deepest treasure.” Find your deepest audacity and know that you’re ready now. Trust that you’re resourceful enough to figure it out.
Let there be room for mistakes, flaws, and doubt, and find a way to flourish despite them.
